Information
technology is one of the vital means for contemporary man. One can easily see
that computer applications are widely used in all fields of activities and
specializations. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate such applications into
Education. Teachers College, under the supervision of the Ministry of
Education, has implemented a program for computer education in order to enhance
the educational process and to enable pre-service teachers to make use of
computer applications in their instruction. Our priority is to enable our
pre-service teachers to use information technology in education, especially in
the teaching process of school classroom education through organized ways,
approaches, methods and work programs. Hence, the Department attempts to back
its graduates with skills needed to follow contemporary information science
achievements and to apply them in their work with pupils of elementary school.
Our program offers great opportunities for keeping pace with contemporary
challenges in the fields of technology and education.
